Host to Millions of Afghans Expects Kabul to Abide by Bilateral Agreements

TEHRAN -- An Iranian delegation went recently to Afghanistan to discuss the blockage of Hirmand River water flow to Iran. The Afghan officials promised to abide by the bilateral agreements and let the water flow into Iran. Following is an interview with Abolqassem Mokhtari, a representative of Zabol in the Parliament on the issue. On the blockage of water flow to Iran, he said, "the flow and disruption of Hirmand's water to Iran shows that the water cut out was done purposefully."
